DESCRIPTION:Lighthouse RunNING Festival\n1 June 2025 – Registrations open! \nAthletes guide now available! \n \n  \n \nWe love the old Burnett Heads Lighthouse so much we created a race that incorporates the old and the new lighthouses\, \nEvents include \n• Marathon (42.2km)\n• Half Marathon (21.1km)\n• 15km\n• 8km\n\n• Kids 4km & 2km \n\nAll races start and finish at Christsen Park (in front of Club Bargara and next to the basin at Kelly’s Beach) with all routes being out and back.\n\nRun on footpaths along the Bargara esplanade then follow the path through the nature reserve to Mon Repos\, where the 8km race will turn around. \nFor the longer distances continue to head north along the stunning coastline with the 15km turning around just before Oaks Beach. For the marathon and the half marathon continue along the path past the new and old Lighthouses at Burnett Heads and then return to Christsen Park (marathon is the 21.1km route twice). \n\nDrink stations will be on course with water and Infinit nutrition electrolyte drink available.\nPrizes will be provided for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd male and female in each distance.\n\nClick here to register as a Volunteer\n
