SUMMARY:Kingfisher Bay Resort Barge2Beach
DESCRIPTION:As the name suggests\, the swim will start on a barge\, and you will swim 2km back to shore\, finishing at the Hervey Bay 100 race precinct area on the beach near Enzo’s. \nThere will be prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd Male and Female swimmers \n$50 entry fee covers the 2km swim logistics\, custom cap and athlete gift. \nThe swim is sanctioned by Triathlon Australia. Race category will follow Triathlon Australia rules\, with social swimmers allowed swim aids\, but will be classified differently in the results \nCompetitors will be responsible for their own transport to the Urangan Boat harbour on Saturday morning. Barge will leave at exactly 7:00am. Gear drop will be made available on the barge\, with equipment taken back to the race precinct at Scarness on the Barge \nRace registration time TBA and will be in the Urangan Boat Harbour carpark\, at the end of Jetty Street\, Urangan. \nFollow the Facebook page for the event to get the latest information.

DESCRIPTION:The Hervey Bay Triathlon Club welcomes you to register your expression of interest to come and race at the Australian Junior Invitational Triathlon on September 18/19 2021. \nEntrants will be selected mainly on merit from State based championships. Please download the application and fill out with as much detail as possible. We envisage being able to offer places to the top 10-20 from each state/age group\, but don’t let that deter you from applying\, if you are keen\, please submit an application. \nDepending on popularity\, we may not be able to respond to all applicants. Please keep an eye on the Australian Junior Invitational Facebook page for more information and updates. \nAge Groups/distances are: \n\n13-14 years 300/10/2\n15-16 years 500/15/4\n17-U23 years 750/20/5 (17-19 and U/23 division split but race together)\n\nAll events are draft legal\, you will need to be TA accredited.
