Named after the legend and suggester of the event, Ditchy, the inaugural Off-road Duathlon will be held on the 19th July 2026.

The event starts at the Barolin Reserve end of Hughes Rd in Tom Whalley Park.

The run course is currently planned to be around the edge of the adjoining vacant land (this may change to a course inside Barolin Reserve for the run & ride), the cycle route will be inside Barolin Reserve.

Some of the course is gravel, some of its grass, some of it is concrete and other parts are asphalt.

Bring your mountain or gravel bike.

Distance are:

Adult 16yo+: 3km Run (2 laps), 15km Ride (2 laps), 3km Run (2 laps)

Give it a Try (GIAT)13yo+: 1.5km Run (1 lap), 7.5km Ride (1 lap),1.5km Run (1 lap)

Juniors: 🏃‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Turtles (10-12yo): 1km Run, 3km Ride, 1km Run

Milbi’s (7 – 9yo): 500m Run, 2km Ride, 500m Run

Hatchlings (3-6yo): 0.250km Run, 1km Ride, 0.250km Run
